Places from the Story
I wrote Oasis of Truth with the idea of the city of Austin, Texas as one of the characters in the story. From the outdoor attractions to the culinary delights, Austin offers a unique setting for a mystery to unfold - for those who have never visited and for natives, alike.
Austin Police Department

The Title
An interesting fact about my title, Oasis of Truth: If you scramble up the letters, using each letter one time, the message is, Faith Roots Us. My brother, Mike, discovered this when he was helping me design the book cover. We both were astonished because that message is the underlying theme of the story. I loved this revelation so much that I decided to write a scene where Officer Joe Morris says these words to Anna.
